Sometimes I think Earth Day is the most important holiday of all. If we don't give our planet the love she deserves, everything else will sooner or later go down the drain. We need daily reminders of the fragile beauty we all depend on. Here is my Earth Day poster girl, on a custom postage stamp, moving through the snowy winter woods. She has stopped and turned her head because she heard a noise. Her big ears are alert. The face has white markings around the eyes and nose. The text reads: Respect the Earth. It can be customized to suit your needs.
Jai Johnson has contributed this wonderful rack card. She said: "Save our planet - please. Using 3 of my wild cat cub illustrations, I've created this image to bring a powerful awareness to our earth and to those who are innocent sufferers when we fail to care for our earth. This is our only earth - let's keep it a clean, safe place to live...not just for ourselves...but for those who depend on us".
I find this simple stamp from Deb's Digs very moving. She said, "A photo of clear blue flowing water is the background for the truth about the source of life on our fragile planet. Encourage conservation with this stamp."

Earth Day is April 22nd. This Earth Day design for 2011 features a turtle with decorated shell and limbs on a sand colored background. Though designed to be an attractive romantic charm worn at anytime during the year this sterling silver plated necklace is also symbolic of the environmental threats facing all turtles.
The illustration on the shell of a map showing the continents of Earth aims to focus attention on the global threats facing the marine turtle. Six of the seven species of marine turtles are listed as endangered or critically endangered, and the outlook is bleak.
